PHP DEVELOPER

Chisinau, Moldova

This is a full time position, based in our Chisinau office.

We are looking for skilled PHP developers with various industry or academic exposure and proven software development experience in PHP.

Responsibilities:

• You will be required to understand technical requirements and suggest best possible implementation solutions.
• You will build robust web applications using Open Source technologies, such as PHP, MySQL, any framework experience is a plus (Laravel, Symfony)
• You will implement client-side logic in Javascript/JQuery and write markup in standards-compliant XHTML/CSS
• You will be writing unit tests and help automate the testing process

Additional requirements:

• Good written/verbal English
• Strong problem solving skills is a must
• Strong coding skills and ethic is a must
• Basic system administration skills a plus (think Linux, Apache, Nginx)
• Experience with Git
• Any Java/Python exposure is a plus
• Any Objective C/iOS development experience is a plus
• Basic project/product management skills a plus
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, etc)

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience in professional web development desired

Education:

• University degree desired, however, not required. Good sense of humor is required.
